Marketing Means’ Grade 2 listed office building in Ashburton, Devon, sits within the boundaries of the Chuley Road Masterplan (follow the link for more detail), a long-term proposal from Dartmoor National Park Authority to redevelop this quarter of Ashburton. The proposals are interesting, and could see the use of the space around our building that was once occupied by Ashburton station put to mixed retail, residential and commercial purposes. We will certainly welcome a scheme that respects the successful businesses currently operating in the area while also bringing a new vibrancy to this part of the town.
We understand that Ashburton Town Council have recently recommended a significant re-think of the scheme (see for example the linked article in Newton Abbot Today), and we look forward to hearing more about how the plans for the redevelopment proceed over the coming months.
